The Ghana Technology University College Students Representative Council on the 8th November 2019 partnered with DJ Lord to host this year’s edition of the annual Akwaaba Night Celebrations.

The Night saw an array of artistes from the various ranks in the Ghanaian entertainment industry; including fast-rising twin sensation, DopeNation who happen to be in the news consequential to the occurrences of the aforementioned night.

In the early hours of Monday, 2nd December 2019, audio was allegedly leaked. The audio which we soon found out was from the camp of DopeNation was three minutes audio throwing jabs at Groud Up pioneer Act Kwesi Arthur.

An excerpt of an interview with Joy Prime following up to the release of the audio has Twist and B2 of DopeNation narrating the incident leading up to the recording of the song ‘Chairman’.

Also, claims by the duo of being elbowed by a member of the Ground Up Chale team and microphone being snatched from them when they were about mounting the stage is completely false.

The management of DJ Lord is debunking the claims made by the duo and also stating that the hullabaloo was a mere case of miscommunication and personal vendetta and no one was physically harmed in anyway.

The night ended on a peaceful note with students elated by the various surprise acts who mounted the stage.

Best Regards
