CENTRAL RAP BATTLE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED
The 2021 Central Rap Battle, has been formally launched at the premises of Ahomka Fie in Elmina, Central Region. The successful event, hosted lots of musicians, producers, movie directors and the leadership of Musiga.
In his welcome address, Mr. Samuel Nana Effah Obeng, manager of Ocean 1TV and Ahomka FM which happens to be the organizers of the event hinted that the initiative was designed to provide a platform for up and coming musicians to bring out their hidden talent and prepare them for the entertainment industry. He further indicated that the event will start from the studios of Ahomka FM and Ocean 1TV with virtual audience through to the grand finale where studio audience will be entertained. Mr. Obeng assured the participants and the general public of a very interesting edition of the Central Rap Battle 2021.
For her part, the Central Regional Musiga Chairperson, Nana Ekua Apetsewah II who doubles as the Tufuhemaa at Abura Wiomua assured the participants of this year’s competition of her support in nurturing the stars of the next generation and the need for all participants to ensure they produce good content not only for the competition but also for the career path they have chosen.
Sound engineer Presdoe, Samuel Walker Amissah (Aka Oja420), videographer Eddie Kumako and one of central regions finest musician, Robert Bamfo (aka Boggy Wednesday) who happens to be the judges of the 2021 Central Rap Battle, also took turns to advice the participants on the career path they have chosen and the need for them to take it seriously. They promised the participants of a very fair and firm judgment from their quarters.
Headline sponsor of the 2021 Central Rap Battle, Frankophone and accessories presented some gifts to the participants. Other partners (Sahara Herbal Clinic, Kwasammy Herbal Clinic, Stadium Resturant and Khebab House) all promised various packages throughout the event.
